Thank you so much @Catsandbooks for this lovely #FFFS surprise I love the books and that jar is just uniquely, Lovely😱The candle smells so good I like the name so it will take time to use it☺️Not the same with the chocolate🍫😋and coffee beverage🧋The card is beautiful, you painted it and the bookmarks😍I always keep the swap cards in one of the books I received from that swap. Catsandbooks So glad you like everything!!! I loved the glass jar too, so much so I almost wanted to keep it lol! It's for your iced coffee! There should be a straw in there. I hope this brings a little brightness to your day with everything going on from the hurricane. 💜 2y

Gissy @Catsandbooks I found the straw and so happy that you didn‘t keep the jar😅😂Today the electricity arrived to my area🙌I couldn‘t believe it I have light to read better and water, now we have problems to find gasoline. I‘m trying to limit to drive to save gas until this situation is resolved. The south area of the island are still struggling with the devastation caused by this hurricane that now is in route to Canada as category 3😔 2y

Gissy @mabell Right now, at this time I‘m writing this message, electricity was cut. Let me think that they are still repairing the lines🙄and I want to think that it will come back again soon🤞The apartment was pretty safe. I was awake during the storm checking everything. We didn‘t suffer major damages in this area, with the exception of no power and water. We also have the problem that there is not sufficient gas for now🤷🏽♀️ 2y

Gissy @mabell @Avanders @Chrissyreadit Well, the situation is that we don‘t know when the electricity is going to be cut. Yesterday we didn‘t have electricity for almost 13 hours which means that water was also a problem. This situation affected many areas in the north part of the island. They said this can happen again until they repair the system in the island🤷🏽♀️But still I‘m in a better position than the south and west part of the island☹️ (edited) 2y
Gissy @mabell @Avanders @Chrissyreadit That‘s is why I can‘t read/post in Litsy as much I will like. When there is no power, I can‘t access internet or sometimes is extremely slow. My heart is with those who suffered the impact of this hurricane besides us, Dominican Republic, Bermudas, Canada and others. It hit them as category 3😔💔The recovery is hard in places like us, islands, because the help takes time, it is by🛩or🛳It was hard for them too😢 2y
mabell I‘m so sorry - being without power, and water!, is awful. And not knowing when you will have it or not. You are so selfless - even as you are going through this, you are concerned for others! ❤️ 2y

But the sad part is that now another hurricane is going to Florida😳One of my friends family live there and her mother is 92 years old, so we are alert of what is going to happen and if they have to leave to another safe place. Today we had electricity today all day🙌 2y
mabell It would be so worrying to have family in the path, especially elderly family members. I hope they are able to get to a safe place. But Yay for electricity all day!! 2y
