Darkest Legacy
Darkest Legacy | Alexandra Bracken
The long-awaited new novel in the New York Times best-selling Darkest Minds series, now a major motion picture.Five years after the destruction of the so-called rehabilitation camps that imprisoned her and countless other Psi kids, seventeen-year-old Suzume "Zu" Kimura has assumed the role of spokesperson for the interim government, fighting for the rights of Psi kids against a growing tide of misinformation and prejudice. But when she is accused of committing a horrifying act, she is forced to go on the run once more in order to stay alive.Determined to clear her name, Zu finds herself in an uncomfortable alliance with Roman and Priyanka, two mysterious Psi who could either help her prove her innocence or betray her before she gets the chance. But as they travel in search of safety and answers, and Zu grows closer to the people she knows she shouldn't trust, they uncover even darker things roiling beneath the veneer of the country's recovery. With her future-and the future of all Psi-on the line, Zu must use her powerful voice to fight back against forces that seek to drive the Psi into the shadows and save the friends who were once her protectors. From #1 New York Times best-selling author Alexandra Bracken comes a harrowing story of resilience, resistance, and reckoning that will thrill loyal fans and new readers alike.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Alexandra Bracken's The Darkest Minds series and now that the final volume is finally published in Italian as well it's time for a reread. The Darkest Legacy does a great job of taking the series one step further and introducing interesting new characters. I'm still crushing hard on Liam Stewart though 😍

Book number 23 of my year. I‘m eager to finish this series but I‘m extremely sad for it to be over. I‘m not ready to let go of Liam, Ruby, Chubs, Zu and now Vida, Sara, Mia, Lucius. There are a ton more amazing characters but that‘s another reason why I don‘t want it to be done lol anyways definitely going to devour this one 🤓

Omg.

I‘m so happy that Zu got her own book. She was one of my favorites since the beginning. Her and Liam are my absolute favorites. That being said this was one of the best series that I have read in a while. I loved how action packed and magically balanced it was. I can‘t believe how everything ended. I am so happy. Definitely going to be one of my tops series reads of the year!

I have a terrible habit with series that I enjoy, if forgetting entirely about what happened in the previous book. But these are so compelling, and I was so enthralled by the ending of In the afterlight, that it was a pleasure to pick up this book, set some years after the previous one ends. I loved the story, it was heartbreaking and gripping, and I raced through it. Definitely start from the beginning of the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

I loved the darkest minds trilogy so I was pretty excited about this new book. It was good, fun to be back with so many favorite characters. I liked how it expanded the universe. But I felt it relied pretty heavily on the reader already loving the old characters.

Oh my god, I loved this book! I have it in eBook, but couldn't resist the signed hardback novel at walmart (bless them for catering to broke bibliophiles).
I loved Zu and Chubs in the other books, so having so much time with them, learning what they were doing now, was an amazing treat. The new characters and their story add a lot to the DM universe! 5 ☆'s!!!!

The Darkest Legacy my favorite book in the series. The story picks up 5 years after the events of In the Afterlight and centers on Zu, one the main characters from the previous books. In this story, the Psi kids are faced with new threats, daunting problems and a new set of characters are introduced (both friend and foe). There were very few lulls in the plot and near the end I found myself frantically flipping the pages to discover the ending.

GondorGirl I'm so excited about this! 😍😍😍 1y

I did not want to wait in the really long line for this galley. I really need to read the other books first. At least I have a darkest minds bag to put them all in eventually.

The movie looks interesting, I'm just not a major fan of the girl playing lead.

GondorGirl I liked these books WAY more then I was expecting. I already have this new one preordered. I like that it takes place five years after the other books and focuses on one of the background characters. 1y
