Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2 | 
My little pickle has just finished Stories for Boys Who Dare to Be Different and loved learning about all the inspiring boys and men in it and now he has moved on to the above book which he is enjoying just as much. I think these books are great. But as a mum of boys who wants her kids to be equally as inspired by women and men I do kinda wish they did a mixed book of both... that may be controversial though. At least we are evening it out now!

Florence got these two books off her shelf, set them up in the hallway and said “please take a picture for Mere Mere.” I wonder where she gets it. 🤔😂
pickJust as good as the first collection. I loved reading these every night before bed with Genevieve and Florence. The illustrations are so whimsical and pretty and the blurb about each woman had substance without being overwhelming. I hope they continue to write and publish these!

We just started Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls 2 and one of the stories is about Madam CJ Walker. She was born right after the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect, so she was born free. She went on to start a hair care empire after realizing that there were no hair care products for people of color. She was #busyearning to the extent that she became the first self made female millionaire in the US. Such an amazing feat. #aprella
pickMy daughter and I are loving the stories in this book! It includes examples of great Women from hundreds of years ago and women from today. Some of it is a bit advanced for my almost 4 year old but it is holding her attention nicely. 4🌟
Today‘s #bookmail wasn‘t for me, but that‘s ok because I have two little bookworms that were super excited to have their new Rebel Girls book!
