Entertaining enough for car rides, I suppose, although a bit predictable. It is true that Walliams has a very similar style to Roald Dahl, although I do not find his storylines as compelling. I am not really the target audience of course - Beatrix enjoyed it.
so-soRead this a while back . Perfect book for children or even just to get into a children mindset . Used to love David Walliams book when I was younger . #8 read a book turned into a movie or tv show.

Slowly making our way though the David Walliams collection with my daughter , loving the laugh out loud moments but also loving these heart felt snippets in his books. Great talking opportunities to help mould our babies into wonderful compassionate people 💕
We have thoroughly enjoyed reading this over the summer and so proud to have finished it 😊
