Has anyone been to New York Comic-Con or is anyone planning on going? I want to go but no one I know seems interested, and I'm not sure how fun it would be going alone. Thoughts?

So I took a break from Facebook this week and when I logged back on this evening, I found out I won a full access pass to Fan Fusion here in the Twin Cities. I‘ve only ever been to C2E2 in Chicago, so I‘m excited to go in August. It seems when I really needed a pick me up to justify all this work the universe just threw a bunch of amazing stuff at me these last few days!

I wish I could‘ve got another day‘s ticket (next year I‘ll get a day‘s ticket JUST to take photos), but #ECCC / Emerald City Comic Con yesterday was pretty awesome. So many awesome costumes to see; Roman was there for half the day with me and loved getting his photo taken with some cool characters, and I came away with a bunch of free books (and some signed). I‘m hurting today from the walking and carrying books though... Lots to read and review!

Of course the main thing I walked away with was books , but I finally got to meet the girls of #theyachronicles and they were so lovely !
The costumes were insane , and I think I might cosplay next year ☺️
