DiNunzia visited by her family friend Simon who believes his company was firing him due to his mounting insurance claim for his daughter's leukemia treatment. But it takes a turn when Simon's boss, Todd was found murdered and Simon becomes the prime suspect. There were enough twists and turns in this story and it was exciting to see everything develop. The mystery will keep you guessing until the very end.

Mary DiNunzio‘s lifelong friend has recently lost his wife, his daughter is fighting cancer, and now he‘s been unjustly fired from his job.

Luckily he has Mary on his side.

But what happens when Mary‘s firm represents a parent company and there‘s potential that she won‘t be able to help?

Such a nailbiter of an ending and I loved every minute!

Kempii How did you like this one compared to other books by the author? I loved After Anna, but Someone Knows fell flat for me. 3y

This was...okay. The writing seemed pretty simplistic, and the mystery wasn‘t hard to figure out. I‘ll give another book I the series a try though.

I asked my bookclub if they had any used books they wanted to get rid of so I could put them in my Little Free Library. Look how generous they were!

Are there any here that you absolutely loved and that I should keep?

A new Rosato and Associates book always brings me joy. This one is a Mary/Bennie combo, too. Scottoline is really focusing on these two characters the past few years, which is interesting. Lost interest in Judy? Good story, typical ending. If you like the series, it's enjoyable. Start at #1, Everywhere That Mary Went, if you've never read them!

Andrew65 A good series. 6y

Bennie, Mary,Judy, and all the Tonys are back in this nail biter. Mary may have an ethical conflict if she helps a dear friend sue his former employer. How far will she go to do what‘s right and how much trouble will she and Bennie find while snooping around? One of the best I‘ve read!!!

Monica5 I liked it, too. Can't wait for her next one. 6y

Family, mystery and self-realization make for a great combo. Continues the Rosato DeNunzio story but you don't have to read them in order.

It‘s always a pleasure to read Lisa Scottoline‘s seemingly effortless writing. EXPOSED is an intense and enjoyable legal thriller about partnerships, loyalty and helping those in need. DiNunzio goes to the mat showing just how far she‘s willing to go to fight the good fight. Even Bennie‘s heart grew a few sizes larger in this snappy story. The plot builds suspense with many twists and turns, and the end is deeply satisfying.

Loved this Rosatto & DiNunzio book.
Benny & Mary end up on opposing sides of the same case. It threatens their partnership and the future of the firm.
Another great read by Scottoline. 💙🤓

Haven't been able to focus on anything post-surgery and hoping that will change really soon.
