Sad the new Dune movie won‘t come out till next year, but excited to delve into this world once again.

April wasn't a great month as far as reading goes. I read four books. Only one of them counted towards a reading challenge (#LitsyAtoZ2018) & I fell behind on my Goodreads challenge. However, I did meet my #CampNanowrimo goal of 15,000 words/15 hours of revision! I'm hoping to get back on track with my reading challenges in May.

I don't know if this counts as a #girlcrush, but what I've always loved about the Dune series is the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood and all of the strong female characters: Jessica, who defied the Sisterhood for love; Chani, smart, fierce & loyal; Darwi Odrade, who wasn't afraid to rock the boat; and Ghanima, Sheeana, Taraza, Lucilla, Rebecca, Murbella to name a few more! #OctoberPhotoChallenge
