Surprisingly was very into the characters for a 5th book in a series. Sheanna, Odrade, Duncan, Taraza, and Miles all brought value to a very solid plot. I think the dynamics of this story and trying to rangle the new worms and the threat of the Honored Matres (and eventual fate of Dune) could make this the best book to movie stories. Hope it happens.

Very enjoyable read. Possibly predictable. But the flow of Reverend Mothers v. Honored Matres was pretty cool. Sheanna and Duncan were good, although I thought Sheanna would be more involved. I was always wanting a more in-depth Reverend Mother story, so I'm glad this was created.

Personally I was very into this story and thought the dynamics between the siblings/Jessica/Alia and everybody was very interesting. Almost as good as the first book in my opinion

Almost unbelievable WW2 spy/deception story. The main story involves dropping a dead fake soldier with fake belongings near a Spanish beach to trick the Axis powers of the European invasion location. But the detail about a British captain, originally an undertaker, first on shore in Sicily, digging his own 3 foot grave, having some tea, and then taking a nap while the guns were set up is just fantastic.

Eh, decent story. Rushed ending though. About what you'd expect with a prequel but worth it if you're an avid hunger games fan and want to learn more about president snow

One of the best books I've ever read. Thrilling. Stayed up late so many nights to finish it. And the fact that it's based on real events is unbelievable. I've recommended this book to everybody I talk to
