Tale of Peter Rabbit
Tale of Peter Rabbit | Beatrix Potter
10 posts | 13 read
The Tale of Peter Rabbit, first published by Frederick Warne in 1902, endures as Beatrix Potter s most popular and well-loved tale. It tells the story of a very mischievous rabbit and the trouble he encounters in Mr. McGregor s vegetable garden!"

Roary47 Wow! I love the golden book collection. I‘ve been slowly getting my kids some, and had a bunch from when I was a kid. Are some of yours from your own childhood? 8mo
TheBookHippie @Roary47 mine are from my childhood mostly. I do get new ones from time to time! 8mo

#EasterOMC @Clwojick @LadyKatrina #15 Books with cute animals. When I was a kid, I had a favorite book that had material on the rabbit that was furry. I rubbed that material off. Lol. I know that it was from golden books and from the 1950s. This one is close to it.

🐸Petter Rabbit is indeed a classic in traditional literature rhat has been a fan favorite since 1902. Potter takes us on a journey about mischief with Peter and his friends. This is an exclusive, reimagined edition for Barnes and Noble. 🐸

Thank you Beatrix Potter for this nostalgic cautionary tale and Charles Santore for making the characters alive with watercolors.

PatriciaS On of my favorites as a child, great review and I will be adding it to my list. Great book for teaching vocabulary words and around Easter ☺️ 3y
AndreaEfres LAFS.K.RI.2.5 Reading Standards for Informational Text in this case the students were going to identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book. This is a strategy to help students centralize sequence in their thinking.
UDL: Offer ways of customizing the display of information. This book contains about a couple of stories in between it's pages it isn't just one story.

DrSpalding Excellent author and beautiful book. Your universal design principle works well however you are missing the English learner strategies. The link was noted on the log. Excellent web resource attached. 3y

Parker‘s April Dolly Parton Imagination Library Book. She already has this one but in a small hardboard book in a collectors set, so we will keep this one, too. #peterrabbit

Look what I found in the storage area of our basement! I loved all of the Beatrix Potter stories as a girl, especially Peter Rabbit, but I know these are not the books my mother read from! These #hardcovers came from my grandparents‘ home. They don‘t have a publication date and bear little resemblance to the single thick book of stories Mom had.

Linsy What an incredible find! 🙌 These are some books I need to get to read to my little boy! I loved them as a kid as well. 6y
ReadZenRites I‘m so glad to have rescued them from the dusty basement! Somehow, being one of three daughters I‘ve been really lucky in the books passed down to me. 💕 (edited) 6y
