Prompt: HARVEST

One thing after another happened to Joshua Logan so he figured he and his family had a life-long curse.

A very tense thriller. At first I thought it was going to go the route of Stephen King, and that almost scared me away, but I kept on going and am glad I did.

This was a really great thriller. I enjoyed the writing and it was very hard to put down.

The plot was the best aspect of the book. It was easy to get tired of the characters themselves, so I wouldn‘t recommend this for people who want books with more character development than plot development. The storyline isn‘t something you find too often, either, so it was a nice change. Overall, it was fast-paced and there was always some significant occurrence within every couple of chapters. #akillerharvest

Just started this one. Normally I switch books between chapters, but this one sucked me right in. This is from last month's #mystery box from #mypagehabit which I will read quickly before the next box arrives on Monday. 💖📚

I thought about bailing soon after starting, and now I wish I had! This was awful. I had read Cleve before and liked it, so this was a big disappointment to me. The narrator was atrocious. The story takes place in New Zealand, but he gave everyone a different British or Scottish accent. One character whispered everything, and one spoke every sentence as a question. Ugh! And the story was really lame too. I only finished bc it was K for #LitsyAtoZ.

I will read anything this man writes. He is such a phenomenal storyteller and he writes about fucked up things in such a different way and it makes it difficult to put his books down. This one is WEIRD and so so unique for a thriller because it's thrillery with twist after twist and such a blurring of good and bad and morals that you don't actually know who is responsible for anything. I mean, you do, but not in the way you normally think about it

Just received my first box from PageHabit! Full of fun stuff plus a book annotated by the author. Coincidentally, I just finished a different book by the same author (and enjoyed it)! #mypagehabit

#TBRtemptation post 2! Recently released. It has a phenomenal embossed cover! Josh's convinced his family cursed, his parents and eyesight are gone. His detective father is killed by a homicide suspect. Then, Josh is offered new eyes: one's from his father, one from the suspect. And he starts seeing their apparent memories. Meanwhile, the suspect's accomplice is out for revenge, killing anyone associated with his death. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

Currently reading this book - a first by this author. It is already a tense, thriller, and I am only on Page 48. Has anyone else read a book by this author or have you read this book? David Brown of Simon & Schuster sent it to me. THANKS, David. #simonandschuster
