The plot was the best aspect of the book. It was easy to get tired of the characters themselves, so I wouldn‘t recommend this for people who want books with more character development than plot development. The storyline isn‘t something you find too often, either, so it was a nice change. Overall, it was fast-paced and there was always some significant occurrence within every couple of chapters. #akillerharvest

Some aspects of the book (namely the profiling) were very compelling and interesting to read, but I really couldn‘t stand John Douglas‘s personality. If it had just been factual and had discussed only the multitude of cases he‘d been on it would have been better. He seems like he‘s arrogant and sometimes offers his unwarranted opinion. Overall, it‘s worth reading once, but it‘s not something I want to keep. #mindhunter
