Finished as an audiobook
Current audiobook. Irritated that its spent most of it's time discussing the men in her life...
Current audiobook--I love when there are multiple voices for different characters.
I read an authorized biography but looking forward to hearing his story straight from him. Concert 4/8/20 can't wait!
Current listen because I can't get enough of his voice...
I did not realize this was a play script. Writing was so odd and hard to follow. I DNF
Just started this for our book club
Awesome Sunday so far. Loving my new Kindle Oasis by the pool. No worries if I get splashed!
Reading by the pool for the last day of this year :-( Should have ordered a moscow mule to go with my book lol
Current audiobook
Hoping to squeeze out the last seconds of summer reading by the pool
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
The Color Purple
960 (and still growing...)
Dinosaurs in the Attic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awkward to read but an effective use of prose. Relevant today as it was when written
Current audiobook, read by the author
Hanging at the pool with my kindle condom
Such a loss to the world. More timely words have not been spoken. I think I will reread her books next in her honor.
Listening to this on audiobook. I didn't want to read it with all the foreign words it would keep tripping me up not knowing the correct pronunciation--so I listen. But I'm not a fan of the narrator whose character voices border on the offensive.
Happiness in a nutshell. Daughter and her friend in the right upper corner
Audiobook--narrator a bit annoying, volume inconsistencies left me straining to hear one minute and bleeding from the ears the next. Also you could hear him shuffling papers.. The concept of addiction is hard to fathom as a non-addict but you dive into his world and immerse yourself in it. You cheer for him when he goes to rehab and fret at each relapse. Not for the delicate but good for fans of the band.
Current audiobook...not for delicate ears....certainly wakes me up for my morning commute!
Current read...this year I'm trying to read more non-fiction and autobiographies. Very well researched.
Preach, girl! The double standard is rampant in every type of workplace
What an awful way to lead employees, we should do better
I never would have picked this book on my own but it was a work women's empowerment book club pick and so I decided to give it a go. Very inspirational.
