I really enjoyed this book. The concept was different despite our lives being ruled by reality TV shows these days. And I enjoyed the light hearted and humorous tone.
However the characters felt a little bit flat and could have developed more layers to them.

Starting this book, i thought 'Even if it is shite, i will continue to read the entire trilogy' since i specifically bought the entire series for that edition/cover.

Besides the MAJOR CONFUSION 75% through the book, I enjoyed it. It is a forbidden romance with a nice freshness to the concept and characters.

I could not stand Georgia while reading this. Not only is she extremely self centered and has an inflated ego but she is a horrible friend. She does not care about her friends and their problems and even goes as far as purposefully giving them bad advice in the hopes that they will fail ultimately ending their 'nagging' to Georgia. Yet every single time she is talking to any of her friends, she demands that she is the center of attention.

I don't really know about this book. I didn't enjoy the characters because I felt they weren't developed enough. They felt 2D and not relatable. The progression of the story also felt way too fast, and I know it wasn't a long novel in the beginning.

What a great end to the TPT series. I liked that Cassie who was mentioned through tiny pretty things was finally a recurring character in Shiny broken things.

This was an insanely easy book to read, and I liked the story, the pace, the development and characters. I really did like Lana more than anyone. There was so much more going on than the superficial facade she showed everyone.
I just felt the climax of it didn't feel right and the end felt quite rushed. But I still really enjoyed this read.

I seriously do not understand why readers think scarlet is better than cinder!!!!?! Scarlet drove me insane with her stubbornness and antics and I just got seriously bored at about the 30% mark.
I just want my cinder and baby Kai reunited. But I am excited to get into Cress!!

Uuugghhhhh. Due to the word limit, I will keep this short
First, I loved the writing style. Great imagery and description throughout.
But myyyy God- Feyre annoyed the hell out of me because of her stubbornness and blatant disregard for her safety.
Why on earth did it take 70% of the book to finally pick up???? I have no clue

Holyyyy shite. I LOVED this book. It had been on my to-read list since July last year, I had even preordered it on Amazon. And for some odd reason I had cancelled the order and only picked up it when I heard it was being compared to 'gossip girl'. Ohhhmyyylord, I'm so silly! This book was ahmazing. I whizzed through the book and even had it pryed out of my hands at one point, I was so addicted. Please, please- read this book

This was the first YA thriller that I read, and I admit I had to stop reading it before bed most nights because of the intensity of it. The book highlights how far teenagers are willing to go to get something that they classify as a 'need'- iPhones, concert tickets, money etc and the repercussions of their choices. I quite enjoyed the constant mystery throughout.

I much preferred this to 'symptoms of being human'. Both novels focused on gender identity, while 'if I was your girl' had a more positive tone to it (not that that's always the case irl) and the other characters were more accepting and supportive which was good to see.

I felt like this story was lacking and the escalation of the romance was very unrealistic. Although i do understand first loves (we've all been there honey) this just seemed waay too dramatic and over the top for me. Yes i do realise that her circumstances are the driving force for this development but I am still annoyed by it. Also that twist, my god...such a cop out.

Such an easy book to read. I was drawn to the concept of a young girl who has been diagnosed with a rare disease and writes a sort of journal for her future self to read and remember her life. It was cute and sad and sometimes funny, but I just felt it could of been executed better.

What a beautiful debut novel to read. Love love loved it. The writing was excellent, the characters were refreshing and relatable, the twists and turns were many, the romance was just right (slow burning- my fave) and the story was cute with just the right amount of serious throughout. Definitely in my top 3 favourite for 2016 reads

Since June this year I have been trying to finish the second novel to The Enemy series. Attempting to read it on my kindle was a struggle and a half, but as soon as I bought the physical copy I whizzed right through it.

Charlie Higson...you have done it again. This book is so intense, the characters are so real and diverse, it's like I'm in this apocalyptic world myself. Amazing read!!

Ugh this book was amazing!! Straight off the bat we got into the competitiveness and bitchiness of ballet and how far girls will go to be the ultimate Prima ballerina. With 2/3 of the protagonists women of colour and frequent references to their cultures this book was a stellar start to this duology series.

Riley is a sixteen year old teenager who has identified them self as gender fluid and is encouraged to start an anonymous blog.

I cannot seem to find the right words to review this but this book explores an important issue and after reading this I do feel more educated about what it means to be gender fluid but I just wasn't a fan of the writing style and I didn't feel really attached to the characters and their problems.

What we saw is a book with a powerful message. Based on the real events of the Steubenville case in 2012, a young girl is sexually assaulted by the four stars of the basketball team. In an interesting turn of events, the town is quick to rally behind the boys and cause an outrage that their precious stars are being dragged through the mud.
A powerful story that is more often than not swept under the carpet as the victims are blamed
