If you don't read often why would your kids?

Was hoping I'd like this more than I did.

This was a surprise. I didn‘t think I would‘ve enjoyed this as much. The supporting characters really helped keep the interest going from beginning to end.

The first half had me thinking this would end up being pretty good but the second half faltered and dragged on. Lots of character building but the story ends before everything starts coming together.

I wasn‘t surprised that I‘d like this one. I‘ve enjoyed VIctoria Schwab‘s adult novels Vengeful and Viscious a lot. When I was putting together my TBR for #WitchAThon I was happy to see that this fit in with the 2nd choice for communing with the dead. Plus it would be a quick read. The story ended up being a lot of fun especially when the setting is mixed with various references to JK Rowling and Harry Potter. Definitely will read the next one.

Was out enjoying the city of Chicago and stopped by the Harold Washington Library. 9 fabulous floors inside a gorgeous building!

Decided to take a chance with this book. I always see Clive Cussler‘s name everywhere and the premise sounds fun.

The Witcher is an interesting character. The short stories here though didn't really get me excited as I was hoping it would. Seeing that it inspired a game and now a netflix series I was a bit surprised. I may try the next book in the series, but I'm in no rush to do so.

I like to come back to this book throughout the year to address any problems pitchers may develop during they year. Coach Keller‘s book is full of experience and is a valuable tool for any youth baseball coach to have for their kids to develop strong pitchers for their team.

I checked this out through Libby but didn‘t start it until I had just a few days left before the loan ended. Now I have just over a day to finish 260+ pages or I‘ll have to wait until the next copy is returned. Don‘t think I‘ll make it but I‘ll see how much I can get through.

Always interesting when you look at points in history and look at what influenced those points. In this case Kenneth Davis looks through the pioneer years and years and years before and shows us how they are all connected.

His inexperience prior to the revolution wouldn‘t have allowed the opportunities he had for just anyone. His 18th century networking skills though helped.

Saw this book while on vacation at a museum bookstore. I always loved the stories not often told in history books so felt compelled to start reading this one.

By far my favorite so far. This trilogy was awesome. Loved all of the characters, plot lines, and especially the twists and turns. Abercrombie makes you think he‘s going one way and then flat out punches you in the face with a completely different direction. Sand Dan Glotka has to be my favorite fantasy character of all time right now. #100pagesaday

This fight was very predictable but exciting. Unfortunately the end just came upon so quickly and was a slight let down.

This is my third reading. I've gotten as far as the third book and then I find I want to reread them again before getting to the next one.

rretzler Welcome to Litsy! 📖 A good idea with GoT. If Winds of War is ever published, I definitely plan to do a reread - it‘s been 7 years for me, and I hope it won‘t be another 7!😂 5y
