The way the story is told through letters written to a sister about the accounts of a sea captains accounts of meeting a scientists accounts of a daemons accounts made me wonder if a true story of a slightly deformed man had broken telephoned it‘s way into this.

This was a pretty quick, easy read. Including the dogs perspective of events made my heart smile.
