This reads like the romcom “Set It Up” but in slightly different setting. I liked that mental health was such a huge part of the story. It really was a pretty cute romance. A few wrinkles, but nothing too glaring. Breakup felt silly to me. What I did notice though is that mature content 🌶️ matches the one from the book I‘ve read prior, down to the sequence and details. This book came out 2 years earlier, it is now the trend, I guess.

69 Million Things I Hate About You was just too much and I still can‘t get it off my mind! Have you ever read a book where you just liked everything about it? The characters, the plot, the flow, the ending? There are scenes that still crack me up when they pop into my head.

I didn‘t quite vibe with this book I felt like it was repeating the same kind of theme throughout the whole book where they wanted each other, but they can have each other. this was my first Lucy score book and I‘ve heard mixed opinions about her, but overall it was ok. It wasn‘t my favorite book i‘ve read. It wasn‘t my least favorite book i‘ve read. The banter was pretty good and funny but I felt like the characters change the personality.

I am struggling to read the three books that I really want to finish but I like don‘t have the energy to do it. I really want to finish by a thread, wicked king and the American roommate experiment but I can‘t like even finish any of them. 😭

I don‘t really have a fair reason why this one was Meh for me. I think maybe I‘d just been overdoing it on the romance this year, and this book tipped me over the edge? Lovely representation in terms of bodies and mental health, and I love how she writes about Jewish characters. The misunderstanding plot line wasn‘t my thing (even tho it wasn‘t between the main characters per say) but it was mostly enjoyable overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘m happy to say I haven‘t been subjected to #badbossday since 2021. This young lady, however, is learning how to be a better hostess. Half the time she runs away, but the other half she‘s curious about me. Her sister, though, is still pretty elusive. #autumnplease

I devoured the book in one go and can't wait to read the next books. Typically for the genre the setting is not very realistic. The third break up act was obvious from the start, thus the drama was a bit over the top. Still, I enjoyed the writing very much. Missed a bit the comedy part but still a very good read.

Finished this week for the Leadership 101 series I teach at work. While I (& most of my group) appreciated (pun intended) much of the core & practical information in this book, we didn‘t appreciate all of the fluff such as listing out each kind of workplace & saying why appreciation will work there. We‘d have liked more practical examples & ideas for each type of appreciation. Note: those participants who read The 5 Love Languages liked it most.
