I have a new way of tracking everything and this will help me find new genres to read, track what I am reading better, and see my reading trends. I‘m really excited about it especially when i get used to it. Am I the only person who tracks reading in a variety of ways? #auldlangreads #newtoyougenre #trello #readingorganization #tracking

In the Snow: Who's Been Here? | Lindsay Barrett George

Pickpick

This RF by Lindsay George is a fun and mysterious book. It is about two kids trying to figure out whose footprints are on the snow. They go on an adventure and try to find out where the footsteps leads them. This book is fun and can be used for RT because it is exciting and get‘s students involved.

fquadri EL strategy 8 can be used and UDL strategy 2.5 can be used to demonstrate the book using RT.

DrSpalding I like the idea of using readers theater! I made a text to text connection with your last post, The Snowy Day. You could have students compare and contrast the two stories. 6mo

Cool new book at the library shows wildlife habits/movement. This fold out map shows the travels of a wolf who migrated from Italy to Croatia via Austria & the Alps.

I really wanted to love this book but unfortunately, I didn't. It was still good but not great.

When I first got this mini book haul I didn‘t think I‘d ever finish them the hectic way life was going but they are DONE! And I enjoyed all of them - my #YA #contemporary needs are fully satiated 🤤 #bujo #tracking

I have updated my Google Sheet READING LOG with more data capture AND Pivot Tables (I'm sorta in love with Pivot Tables right now). Sheet 1 "Reading Log" you still type in information for each finished book (& new columns have been added!) & Sheet 2 "Pivot Collection" combines certain columns for a closer comparison look. As always the first 2 rows are for example & if you have questions please ask. Link in bio & here's to STATS! ? #tracking

Animal tracks?!?!? Nope, hand prints from the littles we took on a short hike this morning. 😂 They pelted my spouse with snow every few steps.

This story is hard to believe it actually happened. The messages about life and nature are good. It had some quotes that stuck with me.

True lostness had nothing to do with the woods or the wilderness; in fact, the times I have been most truly lost in my life, I was almost always living outside of the woods. True lostness is when you have forgotten the spiritual center of your life. When your values have gotten so warped with time that you don‘t remember what is truly important.

Set for 2018 (is it cheating to include one or two books from this year?)

I call this my journaling for dummies: I don‘t have the time or commitment for a full journal experience but love tracking and keeping myself accountable for my reading!
