“Are you unwell again?”
Again? This Jane person must be one of those fainting hypochondriac types, a Mary Musgrove, always loosening her stays and reaching for her smelling salts. Then again, with all this tight #stuff around my torso it doesn't take much imagination to figure out why fainting may not be that farfetched. #QuotsyFeb20

I have family that arrived Sunday for 10 days & a full work schedule & I am behind on most things. 😬Catching up on yesterday‘s “stuff” prompt. And I fully agree with this quote. 😉

“Anyone can show up for stuff like graduations and birthdays. Only the people who truly love you will help you move.”

Leftcoastzen 👏👍So true ! 2w
mrp27 Just went through a move, so true. 2w

“Researchers in the U.K. have developed a vegetable called ‘super broccoli‘ designed to fight heart disease. Not to be outdone, researchers in America have developed a way to stuff an Oreo inside another Oreo.”

JanuarieTimewalker13 Hahahaha!!!! Love it! Double stuff Oreos have been around for a long time. I think I remember them from the late 80s. Everything seems to come around again, but this is the first I‘ve heard of Super Broccoli. 2w
Suet624 I want that super broccoli! 2w

This is probably one of the most quoted lines but one we tend to forget... or apply.

Cathythoughts This is true !! A great reminder, I get stuck in my comfort zone very easily .... 2w
IamIamIam I feel like some fluff is necessary otherwise I'd feel like I was back in school... although I can only think of 2 or 3 teachers who would encourage me to read about serial killers. I'm sure at least one teacher thought I had the potential to join their ranks... 😂😂😂 2w
RamsFan1963 @IamIamIam I agree. My fiction reading is usually fun stuff, sci-fi, fantasy and adventure. I save the serious, thought provoking stuff for non-fiction. Variety is the thing, a good balance of fluff and substance. 2w
IamIamIam @RamsFan1963 I like to use reading challenges to push me into reading fiction I may shy away from because the subject may be a bit heavier. Otherwise I'd only ever read the same authors over and over! I definitely think a good balance is in order but I've totally gotten over thinking I need to incorporate "the classics" into rotation to be well read. That took a long time and a lot of unhappy hours to realize!!! 2w

Desha So true! I need to work on this! 🤪 2w
Eggs Thanks @Desha ; it seems to be a common problem 🤪 2w
Desha @Eggs yes and I think particularly for me it‘s books, stationery, journals etc. I just love them and I don‘t want to get rid of any of them 😂 2w
