February 1 #InQuotes Forever This is my favorite Forever quote of all. I cried when I first read this book. And I always sing it as did Robert Munch with the recording he did of his books. @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

Clwojick I cry every single time I read this one. 🥹 2mo
BookBosomed1 This was my go-to book as a child. This year for Christmas, I had an ornament made with a quote from the book for my Mom. 2mo

Turning to my littens for some book recs today! Recently found out I'm having a baby boy and realized I don't know many mother/son stories... Is it just me, or does the father/son relationship take precedence in our media?? 🤔 Any suggestions out there for good mother/son books? Especially if the son is middle grade/teen! I know gender means very little, but I still feel this is a void in my reading life now. HELP!

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I‘ll be lurking for answers to this as I also need recommendations! 😅 My sister-in-law gifted me two books from the “Stinky Face” series, and they‘re both focused on a mother/son relationship. I love the illustration style too! 6mo
ShyBookOwl @wanderinglynn Omg this sounds amazing!! Thank you 6mo

ShyBookOwl @MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm Haha well, congrats (?) and good luck! Let me know if you come across any other good ones and I'll do the same! I'll definitely check out Stinky Face 6mo
wanderinglynn I‘d also say the Harry Potter series (although not physically present, his parents have a lot of influence on Harry) & the Percy Jackson series. 6mo
ShyBookOwl @wanderinglynn Ah ha! I was wondering if Percy Jackson would be a good one! Thx! I only read the first few HPs about 5 yrs ago. Maybe I'll return to them if they're still on my kindle lol 6mo
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm Congrats to you too! 🥰 6mo
PathfinderNicole Board book wise, Sandra Boynton‘s Pookie series is about a little boy pig and his mom makes appearances! My son loved those when he was small! But I feel your pain, it does seem like there‘s very little for mother/son relationships! 6mo
ShyBookOwl @PathfinderNicole So frustrating, right?! Thanks for the rec! 6mo
Dragon Love Your Forever- makes tears well up - even the cover- hugs 🤗 and congratulations 💚🐉 6mo
