This one kept me guessing! Complicated characters, a mother with a painful past, a daughter who can‘t see past her own misery, a father who is lazy and self absorbed. When there is a disappearance, the daughter struggles to find the truth is all the lies and omissions. Perfectly paced, this thriller was compelling and a great summer read. Delightful! I really enjoyed this return to Green Oak. We follow Josie, small town coffee shop owner and Mayor and her complicated romantic history. When her sister‘s best friend shows up in town at the same time that she could really use a fake fiancé, shenanigans ensure. Delightful to step into Eloisa James‘ regency world again. Her vivid novel follows the story of a grumpy viscount who has just become the guardian of his wayward sister‘s twins. All 3 are struggling to find their way and then the sister of the Viscount‘s betrothed enters the picture to blow everything up. Fun, steamy, & engaging, I recommend this to all romance fans! Loved this latest thriller featuring Lily Kintner and Henry Kimball. They are such compelling and conflicted characters and this was another great page turner. This was the most delightful, charming fairytale retelling-maybe the best I‘ve ever read! This results in arrests and the cessation of these gatherings where fairytales are told by Charles Perrault & Madame D'Aulnoy.

So good! I loved this sapphic love story about a farrier and a city girl who fall in love while trying to save the family business. With horses!
