4✨ I was able to sneak one more into June‘s completed books! I gushed about this one to my husband. I‘ve had this on my shelves for over 10+ years, and the title is what drew me originally. However, as I read this I discovered an amazing story about finding your person, and not losing yourself in the process. Each boyfriend may have had a dog that connected them, but the lessons she learned about dating and herself are what make this book.

5✨I really enjoyed this book! Charlie was a great character with compassion, drive, and courage. An interesting other world element with insects was fun! Plus a dark fairy tale vibe in this other world. Not to mention a sweet and loyal dog. The adventure had some lulls, but for how long as it was I never felt uninterested for very long when the story was slowing down in parts. I appreciated the depth to character and world development. #Losersclub
