Wow! This blew me away! The characters were all delightful. Absolutely loved the urban fantasy feels, in such a unique way. Excellent pacing & I was kept guessing on the bigger mystery right up until the end! Definitely an author to follow! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

An anthology of science fiction stories by queer voices and with queer representation.

Anthologies are pretty hit & miss for me, & this one didn‘t really hit. The stories were mostly fine, the narrators were great, but I want sci fi that I‘m still thinking about.

Although I will be searching out E Saxey, because the story Amelioration has me thinking about language & hateful rhetoric. I listened to that story twice before moving on. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Kicked out of his family, Manny travels until he learns of an identified body near where he used to live. Worried that it‘s his sister, he returns to confront his past & everything he‘s been running from.

Such an intense read! Questions of identity, conformity, & the abuse of power by those supposed to care for the most vulnerable. Very clever with the changing POVs/fonts. & a supernatural twist I think could have been set up better. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

In an effort to avoid an unwanted marriage, Celeste escapes into a blizzard, finding refuge in an abandoned manor with a very unusual Beast.

A very interesting, historical & Sapphic reinterpretation of Beauty & the Beast. I really liked the twist on the curse, & I liked all the characters. The relationship was really sweet. Pacing slowed down in the middle, the ending was unsatisfactory w/ loose threads, but overall an enjoyable read. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

Jesse, looking for her father, & Ben, escaping his to freedom, work together on the Nightland Route. Only, the job they're running has bigger implications than they could have imagined.

Wasn‘t expecting historical fantasy, but I loved it. The Pony Express woven w/ the magical world was engaging. I loved the friendship that developed between Jesse & Ben. And Jesse's exploration of their gender identity was so interesting. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

In the past, Peter is working for a dictionary & finding his place in the world. In the present, Mallory is dealing with fake words in that same dictionary & bomb threats to her place of work.

This was so clever! So much word play, & definitions of words is never even heard of. I liked Mallory‘s story & her relationship with Pip more & would have liked more of it. & the examination of language & changing meanings was great! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

The Rook family, with the new addition of amnesiac priest Grace, are confronted with a new Hell Hole in Helsbury and have to save the world. Again.

A fun read! Made me smile & laugh. The characters were all interesting, but their voices felt similar a lot of the times.

Didn‘t know this was a 2nd book. I did feel invested enough in the familial relationships, and the secrets that were discovered in this one to find the 1st. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Wessex, & its king & queen, are beset on all sides, betrayal from within, enemies at their border, & a fae threat believed to only be a story. & Samhain approaches.

This retelling of The Wild Hunt lived up to all my expectations! The characters are all so vivid! This whole story has a gorgeous weight to it. & the pacing! As the tension ramped up, I could literally feel my blood pounding in my ears as the climax of the story approached. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
