Completely an impulse buy because…black cat. There are a lot of books in this series too so I hope I like them
Soft pick bc the parts where young Lily endured sexual abuse was a lot for me, and sad 😞. Otherwise compelling at times and I found myself rooting for Lily (who calls herself Ruby, as a showgirl), and hoping she‘d find her niche.
