Do you have any reading plans or goals for 2023?
I‘ve decided to tackle the big books on my tbr as there‘s so many I‘ve put off for a long time. They are mainly audiobooks as I find that so much easier with long books
Bklover I am going to read The Eighth Life. Yep. I sure am. I keep thinking if I tell enough people that I‘m going to read it that maybe I actually will read it! 1mo
TheNeverendingTBR I've made making goals every year and completing them, in 2023 though I'm not going to set any goals, I'm just going to take my time and not count. I want to see how much of the Necroscope Series I can read, there's like 20 books so I think that's goal enough! 🫠 1mo
Cazxxx @Bklover Hopefully you‘ll manage to read it next year! It‘s on my wish list as it sounds interesting. I managed war and peace this year, got the audiobook and listened to a bit every day and it really didn‘t feel long at all 😊 1mo

Cazxxx @TheNeverendingTBR We don‘t always need to make goals, it‘s nice just to enjoy books and have quality over quantity. A 20 book series is definitely a goal in itself! 1mo

marleed Except for a couple specific books per month, I hope to choose the book I read on the day I start read it. It‘s my attempt to treat my TBRs like a bookstore of shiny new things. My reading was sorely lacking spontaneity and I‘m curious how this will affect my joy of reading. 1mo
Cazxxx @marleed That sounds like a great idea! I think it‘s good to be spontaneous and read what you feel like at the time. I‘m such a mood reader I‘m always reading many books at once 😂 1mo
DimeryRene The goal is always to read the books I already have!!! I have not bought too many books over the past two years. But I‘m still not actually reading what I already have, now I‘m borrowing from the library instead 😅 1mo
Cazxxx @DimeryRene I relate so much to that 😂 I don‘t buy many books either as I have hundreds to read but I also borrow a lot from the library. Plus always buy kindle books as they‘re on offer so never get through what I already have! 1mo
