I found the card in the used book. I looked him up. He passed away a year and a half ago. Finding things in books is awesome!

Scored these at my building‘s book exchange last night after coming home from watching The Great Lillian Hall at the cinema. Beautiful movie. It was a long weekend in New South Wales so I made the most of it eg. Pots of tea in bed on Sunday and Monday morning as I had ballet on Saturday morning for 3.45 hours. I got in two hours of Pilates on Sunday with the torturer, Flavia. Trying to get to Singapore again soon. So much to do so little time.
I just started watching Yellowstone (I know I am behind!) & have quickly become obsessed with Rip & Beth‘s relationship/dynamic! Anyone have any good recommendations for books that have their vibe?
Doesn‘t have to be cowboy themed - I am open to all books with their vibe.
No triggers, but not a fan of pregnancy or children in romance books.
(I know I just made a big post about reading all my physical books - I can‘t help it, lol!)
To quote the Ancient Aliens meme: I don't know, therefore Aliens!
I posted about two books finished today. I'm very much enjoying the Lethem but I am thinking it will need to hibernate for now as it is not compatible with my mood/mental space etc (will def come back as it is quite good), which leaves me with me mostly a clean slate except for one story collection which I am enjoying SO MUCH I ordered the physical copy. Will review (CONT)
Love the great range of disabilities and body types shown here. Although the main focus is on physical limitations, a lot of the advice is applicable to other kinds of disabilities too.

Just a little local library love this evening. 📚☕
Mercury Stardust is the Trans Handy Ma‘am on social media. Her DIY videos started showing up in my YouTube feed a few months ago. While I‘m not a renter, this books has helpful information in it for all. I like her message of “You‘re worth the time it takes to learn a new skill.”
