A #GoodHabit I‘m trying to establish is meditating. I love the Calm app - it has helped me through a lot lately and has helped me gain #positivity in my life. It‘s rare that I pay out money to get an expanded app experience, but I did with Calm. If you‘re looking for guided meditation, I highly recommend Calm. #SelfImprovementSept

SauerPatch I‘m so glad you posted this! I‘ve been considering something like this but wasn‘t sure where to start. Thanks! 💚 3mo
Librarybelle You‘re welcome, @SauerPatch ! 3mo
SW-T I have the app but I‘ve only used the freebies. Thanks for the post! Least now I know paying for full access is worth it....sometimes you‘re not sure! 3mo

wanderinglynn I‘ve been working on this too. I also recommend the book 3mo
OriginalCyn620 I‘ve been wondering too if paying for full access was worth it! I think I‘ll try it out! 😊 3mo
Librarybelle @SW-T @OriginalCyn620 I think the full access is worth it! Meditations, sleep guides, lessons on how to help anxiety and depression. There are also movement guides, which is a pretty new feature. 3mo
Librarybelle Thanks for the suggestion, @wanderinglynn ! 3mo

Every month, I track a number of things in the hopes that at least one of them will develop into a #goodhabit! As you can see, it can be hit or miss. But this list is a good reminder of what I hope to accomplish. #SelfImprovementSept

Blaire What a great way to track! I use a bujo and I am going to adopt that method for next month. 3mo
OriginalCyn620 That‘s great! 👍🏻😊 3mo
DGRachel That's awesome. I have a handful of things I'd like to track, and couldn't figure out how to best do it. I may have to steal this idea. 😊 3mo

TheSpineView Great idea to track that way. When you write it down it makes it more real. 😊 3mo
UwannaPublishme A friend of mine was just telling me about this book. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 3mo
PurpleyPumpkin @UwannaPublishme I don‘t have this book, but it looks really interesting. 🤔 3mo
PurpleyPumpkin @TheSpineView @DGRachel @OriginalCyn620 @Blaire I saw this method on YouTube and thought it would work well. It‘s nice to focus on certain areas each month to try to improve!😉 3mo

#GoodHabit ? Bad habit? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I buy copies of great books to give away randomly... I know... I have a problem!!!

#Selfimprovementsept

LauraJ A generosity problem...hmm 3mo
RaimeyGallant Oh. My. Goodness. Love it. 3mo

Copwithabook Me too!!! 3mo
tournevis I do the same. Not a problem if you do give them away. 3mo
JenReadsAlot I say it makes you an amazing person! 3mo
BarbaraJean I love this! I have a similar problem; I can‘t resist buying copies of books I love, even if I already own them, with a plan to give them away. The problem comes in when the same friend receives multiple copies of the same book because I forgot I already gave them one! 3mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @RaimeyGallant I need your address! I have a few on your list 😘 3mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Ruthiella yes ma‘am ❤️ 3mo

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @BarbaraJean I‘ve done the same thing!! I have a notebook that I try to keep updated with who‘s gotten what!! 3mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @JenReadsAlot aww you‘re so sweet!! 😘❤️ 3mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @tournevis 🥰🥰 the holidays are around the corner!!! 3mo
BarbaraJean A notebook to keep track is a great idea! One friend has received at least two copies of Cry, the Beloved Country from me. Maybe three. It‘s a running joke now—I take pictures of it and text them to her when I am tempted to buy it for her!! 3mo

One #goodhabit that I‘m very consistent with is daily gratitude. When I sit down to journal, I list 3-5 things I‘m grateful for. It‘s a nice reminder to look for the good! #selfimprovementsept

PurpleyPumpkin Lovely! I‘ve tried this in the past, and it‘s a good reminder at the time that I‘m writing and later as well. 👍🏽 3mo

One #goodhabit I‘m doing today is having some relaxing down time with my kitty Sam. He‘s not always a cuddler, but he seems content with it at the moment.

TFW you walk into #bookclub and as soon as the meeting starts someone says: I HATED THIS BOOK. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but IMO it‘s not a #goodhabit to shut down discussion this way. For my part, I thought it was fine. Not the same panache as the original author, but that‘s a tough act to follow. #selfimprovementsept

Thank you to everyone who sent me ❤️❤️ yesterday. I love this community. 🥰

I‘m sure Cadfael had a #GoodHabit!

(I know, not really on a theme of self-improvement, but I couldn‘t resist the monk - habit connection...)
