Visited Garden District Book Shop in New Orleans‘ beautiful Garden District this weekend with my family. Indie bookstores are part of our road trips whenever possible! Great little shop.
Once Anne Rice arrived at a book signing at the shop by means of a jazz funeral procession in a hearse pulled by mules. She emerged in the bookstore from inside a closed coffin!
