I loved this!!!
The Appalachian setting, the clash of past and present and how everything comes together. I‘m so keen to get my hands on the companion novel and find out what else the sisters get up to.
I stayed late at work to finish off the audiobook - I was on the edge of my seat!!
TW sexual violence I really enjoyed most of this book but the sexual violence in the middle was both not needed nor handled properly.
It‘s stupid cold. I‘ve made myself finish off a cowl and I‘ll start something else. The Witchstone is fun though. Kinda jaunty with the air of a heist yet to happen.
I really enjoyed this audio. It was an easy listen. I already downloaded the next one :) Judgy Zoey.

“Everything is broken,” I murmur. “Things have been cracked for so long, Sage,” Sky responds. “They needed to break. So now the roots and leaves can come out and everything can bloom again.”

Starting this one today!! The witchy journey continues! 💫🪄🧙♀️🖤
Magical realism and full of feelings. I enjoyed the magical bits and the love Sage has for everyone in her life. The writing is good, but the story is a little immature for women who are supposed to be almost 30. Book #90 in 2024
