@andrew65 asked for #christmaslights and the first thing that popped into my head was Nightlights. I read this for LMPBC a while ago. I liked it, but didn't love it. Still have not read the sequel.

Christmas Garden in the beautiful and vast Zoo & Botanical Garden of my hometown.

For the last years, it has become increasingly popular in Germany to have beautiful light decorations in public parks of zoological/botanical gardens in December, marketed as Christmas Garden. There's an entrance fee, but worth it.
After nightfall, you can enjoy a stroll in elaborately lighted, magic surroundings. There are Christmas food stalls as well. ❄️🎇

Our city‘s Christmas tree. We haven‘t seen it yet, but we plan on visiting next week.

My mom‘s Christmas tree this year. I‘ll have to ask her how many lights she put in (it‘s was always fun when we were young ‘cause she always tried & succeeded outdoing herself every year).

Not this year‘s tree because it‘s not decorated yet, but this is out our tree 2 years ago. Some years we go with white lights; other years we go with multicolored lights.

Made lantern bags yesterday. We have a small book tree with fairy lights. My son made a ChemisTree in school and was super bummed that he couldn't take it home.

I am a less is more person when it comes to Christmas lights. We have lots of lovely historic homes which look beautiful when lit like the one above and l love Santa peeking over the edge of the building. The stop light Christmas tree never fails to amuse me.
