Here‘s my banned books week bulletin board. Each little banned sign describes the reasons a book was challenged or banned. Lifting up the flap allows you to see the cover of the book with its title and author listed below it.

LiteraryinLititz How clever! Can you show us one close up? 3d
Chelsibno @LiteraryinLititz Sure! I won‘t be able to post it until Sunday. I‘ll be sure to tag you in it! 3d

My banned books week book display! That poster took me forever to make! Yes, there are EXACTLY 50 stars and 13 stripes on it.

merelybookish Nice work! 😀 3d
Chelsibno @merelybookish Thanks! I was determined to make it look accurate, especially for one student who makes it his mission to point out others‘ typos, mistakes, etc. 3d

Very clever and silly; it was a fun little read. I‘m not sure it deserves all the gushing I‘ve seen/heard about it, but I‘d say it‘s worth knowing about. #rorygilmorereadingchallenge

⭐️⭐️⭐️ For the most part, I did enjoy this book. I have never read a book like it and it was interesting to think about. I could not imagine being charged for every word I spoke or even being charged to kiss someone. There were a few parts that were frantically weird or strange, but it‘s also a different world so I wouldn‘t expect to feel normal reading it. TW - Rape, Murder and Suicide

Well, after a judge ok‘d the confiscation of “inappropriate” books at the Rio de Janeiro book fair, activists bought them and handed them out for free. Plus, the local paper put an “inappropriate image” on the front page.

1. This book INFURIATED me in 4th grade and I‘m still salty about it

2. Kitchen Nightmares. It‘s funny to me, anyway

3. Poppyseed bagel and cream cheese 👍

4. EST #eastcoastbeastcoast

5. Simple Green, or Green Shadow.

LibrarianRyan Really I love this book. And see it so current even though it's 30 years old. 1w
Coueriamb @LibrarianRyan - I haven‘t read it since I was 12-13 so you very well might be right. However the conclusion of the book made 12 year old me so angry that I still remember it and am angry about it lol 1w
LibrarianRyan @Coueriamb that I get! That was some ending! 1w
