Mehso-so

It was a good read, though very predictable at times. There also seemed to be a few inconsistencies that I couldn't quite reconcile when I was reading it. Maybe I was reading too much into things, but I just... struggled with the rest if the story, for lack of a better way to put it.

Just realised that this brings up my #Booked2020 #Booked2020Winter challenge as it was set in Hollwood 😅

Okay but it's more an introduction, a tease of what the characters will be. The resolution is almost out of nowhere. Kat Holloway is interesting enough for me to eventually read the next story.

It took two hockey games to get through it. 🙂

Cinfhen My hubby is a HUGE NHL fan, so he made me watch the Zamboni driver become backup goalie during game clip. And I totally teared up. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/28761372
That was a great hockey moment 😭🖤

Kicking off my 2020 reading year the best way I know how! I figured today would be a perfect day to read an entire book and check off one of my challenge boxes--before real life jumps back in and demands attention. This book is beautifully illustrated but wow the story is out there. I'm finding it hard to suspend disbelief. Highly imaginative, though, with some thought provoking philosophy. #finishinaday #booked2020 #booked2020winter

Alora Its very pretty! 😍 Love the layout/font 4y

One of fun things of the last day of the year is planning the books to read in the new year. My tracking sheet is done with the three reading challenges that are shaping my reading for 2020. Bookriot Read Harder challenge, Reading women 2020 and #booked2020

Here's my #booked2020winter preliminary choices.

These are my picks for #booked2020winter! I reserve the right to change my mind, but hopefully I won‘t have to!
#booked2020
1. Millennial author
2. Hat/head covering on cover
3. Live and learn: subject mostly new to you
4. Set in Hollywood
5. Cover crush
6. Finish in a day

EmilyM The Dollhouse is good! 4y
Cinfhen Your covers look so good all together!!! I‘m loving the picks for prompt #2 ❤️ 4y
alisiakae Interesting choices! I have A Study in Charlotte on my shelves, but hadn‘t thought of it for the millennial author prompt. I just checked out a Sally Rooney book from the library, since I will probably kick off the new year with that prompt. 4y
BarbaraTheBibliophage Yay! The planning is half the fun! ♥️📚👊🏻 4y
