1. Chicago
2. Ann and Michael talked about it on the BOTNS podcast. Shortly thereafter I met the wonderful creators @todd and @jeff (who also founded the great #OOP) at #BEA16 and I've been here ever since.
3. Atonement (Maybe) The Shawshank Redemption (Definitely)
4. Yes! I still remember feeding it little bits of ground beef 😛 #welcomelitten @saguarosally

What an absolute trip. I started this on the way to #bea16, listened to most on the way back, and spent 90 minutes driving around town to finish it the next day. JS was a great character but I was really interested in Sardar Singh once he was introduced.

WordsForWorms Gaaaaah my library audio book expired and I was right at the very end! Things were being revealed! Now I have to waaaaait! 8y
balletbookworm @WordsForWorms nooooo! :( that's when they tell you all the secrets! 8y

I finished this at #bea16. Gaiman did not disappoint - I really liked the idea of different mythologies having to survive in America as their believers dwindle in number. Excellent road trip book.

This was my audiobook I finished on the way to #bea16. Great short bios of female scientists from many different fields. But I wanted more - longer bios, more women. I hope she does a volume two.

Lincoln in the Bardo | George Saunders

It's finally in Litsy! ? Lincoln in the Bardo was one of my "must get if at all possible" titles at #bea16 - even though it doesn't publish until February 2017 (!) I've started reading it and it's SO good.

Lola This was the line with the biggest payoff for me at BEA-got the book, a smidge of a chat with GS and as a bonus I got to meet you and stand in the line chatting with @Liberty Excellent all around! 8y
balletbookworm @Lola that was an excellent signing :) so glad to@have met you as well! 😃 8y
dixi_e Can you elaborate on what makes it "so good" so far? I'm curious about it but don't yet feel convinced I'd enjoy it. 8y

balletbookworm @dixi_e the structure is really unique, a combination of quotes from historical works interspersed between narration from the other souls trapped in the graveyard. It's also a meditation on what happens when we die and what might keep a soul tethered to the physical plane instead of moving on. 8y
dixi_e Thanks! Neither American history or in particular Lincoln appeal to me (suffered through Lincoln by Gore Vidal earlier this year 😳😢) and for that reason I'm hesitant to pick this up. However, the author and his style DO appeal to me so I'm conflicted! 😁😊 8y
balletbookworm @dixi_e Lincoln actually doesn't figure much in the book so far, only as a grieving father. It's largely from the POV of the spirits 8y
dixi_e Excellent to know @balletbookworm. I'm becoming more and more keen on checking this out. 8y
