3rd of Kubica's books that I have read. Standalone thriller with interesting characters. Plot with twists and turns. The story gets off to a slow start with two separate narrators telling two separate stories. Piece by piece you begin to see how these stories can be related but you are kept guessing until the very end. I like books that surprise you and that's what her books are all about. Recommend to those who like psychological thrillers.

SexyCajun I‘ve been thinking of this book for awhile. This is a book that I read that I forgot the ending to!!!!! 🤷🏼‍♀️😱. I have no idea how or why I can‘t remember. Would you be willing to tell me the ending of you‘re able to sum it up quickly? 6y

EadieB @SexyCajun Quinn and Esther were roommates. Esther went missing. Alex in another area is shopping for Ingrid who is home bound. Alex lives with his drunken dad. Across the street is a house that is empty where a 5 year old Genevieve died and was buried. Ingrid really put G up for adoption Esther finds G but G puts Esther in a storage shed. Esther and Genevieve are sisters. G goes to Ingrid‘s house and stabs Alex and Quinn finds Esther in shed. 6y
