I loved this story! You can really tell the author is also the illustrator, as the text and pictures are absolutely seamless. I love the characters and the message!

This book is a fictional children's book and won the Carolyn W. Field Award (PA). A child in a yellow slicker takes a big, red umbrella out on a rainy day. The umbrella helps everyone stay dry, no matter if they are tall, hairy, plaid, or have four legs. It likes to take people (and other creatures) in and give them shelter.
My daughter isn‘t a huge fan of books, so I‘m going to try the good old Pizza Hut way.
