I finished this in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. Once again, Patricia Briggs delivers a fun, engaging story told in 5 short stories that shes ties together about Asil (from the Mercyverse). I loved reading about his 5 dates & appreciated how she tied all 5 stories together, & even had a HEA.

Definitely my best October read, this book had everything. A fantasy with a down-to-earth heroine, a quest, a romance with plenty of good bits, and, of course, dragons. Really well-written and absorbing and I can‘t wait for book 2!
