#SUNDYBUDDYREAD 2023 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May the year bring us some wonderful Sundays!!

Title mentioned right away!
Do you look for this in books?
I always think it‘s like an Easter egg!

Cinfhen I‘ll be starting this one tomorrow 🤩 1y

vlwelser The author certainly gets straight to the point with this one. 1y

mcctrish I do like when I see the title in the book, especially when it‘s semi- hidden as @vlwelser says here it‘s a bit in your face 🤣 1y
Deblovestoread I am always on the look out for the connection between story and title. I prefer it when it‘s hidden and provides an aha moment. 1y
Karisa I agree with @Deblovestoread that the it‘s great when the title reveal gives a deeper meaning to the book. This one is definitely more straightforward strategy. No confusing what type of godmother is meant in this book—could almost hear the Coppola movie‘s haunting theme song playing as I read 🎶🇮🇹 1y
Catsandbooks I like when the title is revealed later and you discover the connection. Or when there's an important conversation that mentions it. 1y
AmyG I don‘t look for it, but I like finding the title or connection. Sometimes it‘s very eye opening. 1y
megnews Like many of the other responses I prefer when it‘s more of an Easter egg or aha moment with a bit deeper meaning. 1y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I don't mind when it's obvious, but it can be fun when it's a quiet line tucked into the middle of the book, almost easy to miss. 1y
DebinHawaii I prefer the more quiet finds of the title in a book but obvious is also fine. It drives me a little crazy if there is not a clear reason for the title at least somewhere in the book. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 1y
mollyrotondo Happy New Year! Glad to be back! I do love finding the title mentioned somewhere in the book. I don't always seek out the meaning, but I love when all of a sudden the title is explained. This one is a bit more straightforward, but I like that right off the bat we know the connections to the Godmothers. Btw I also watched the Godfather marathon last week in order to mental prepare lol 1y
Andrew65 Sometimes its hard to find a reasoning for a title but right in your face in this one. Possibly prefer it more when it is a bit deeper. (edited) 1y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 too on the 👃🏼 1y

Pickpick

WOW! I loved reading this book over the course of the month.First off thanks for choosing it as the #Sundybuddyread. At times, I had to really pay attention to which world Lydia was in, and what month we were in, but that is just the way my brain works.Throughout the book, we got see how Lydia dealt with the death of her fiance. I can't even imagine. She was able let go in the end. and I am so that in the end her and Jonah started a relationship.

Josee.lit.a.lu.et.lira I finished it this morning. Where did you get the pic? 🥰 Even, though I did not want them to end up together, the writer did a great job at making me believe they could be. I think she should have short feathery hairs though for the kissing scene😉 I‘m glad you enjoyed it, so did I, a lot! (edited) 4y
cwarnier @Josee.a.lu.lit.et.lira I just googled a picture and choose one I was feeling fit. 4y
