I was literally too burnt out to attend Kings rallies. My mood today is influenced by 1) My friend‘s 2nd book of poetry published. She asked me to write a review. Help! How do you review poetry???? 2) gray gray day today, msking me feel both tired & elated- huge big beautiful clouds filling the sky around me.3) made Julia Child‘s beef bourguignon, cooking for us makes me happy4) my son made cod loin for dinner.5)Em & me.

Many shifts in mood. Relief that our storm was manageable, rather an unevent. Elation that Hostages are released;glad but so sad for the Palestinians who are returning to their devastated, war torn country;tacos for dinner! Oh & so happy to have the day off to finish up some projects, read, cook!

*I don't think Finland is the only country that includes spotting fake news and propaganda in their curriculum. I heard Germany does, as well. There's probably others. But not the US.

A happy mood- back to work after 4 days home with food poisoning- and this is only our first 5 day week -strange to be out so early in year. missed staff, students, lots of love there! Came armed with water & my home-made chicken rice soup(I freeze it in batches for times like this). Now home reading. 💗🍲💦 📘

1. A mixed bag of a weekend: Fri switched office locale & got a raging period. Period= nausea ALL day, shit sleep for days before, terrible pain for a couple days, irritability, massive headache/dizziness on Sat. Combined with heat wave =more loss of sleep. And i got cracked in the head yesterday with my vaccum. And today back to other office which I have deemed The Troll Hole.
2. Coffee? Ignore ppl?
3. My bed
4. Prob 100yrs of solitude w/ earbuds
