Silly me I forgot to post my wrap up for #LitsySummerCamp #LitsySummerCampReadathon. I read all of Just Folking Around and Claimed (really enjoyed both) I started Dark Crime and The Dating Dare. I exceeded my goal of 700 pages and read for more than 18 hours. It was a great week at camp I hope we get to do it again next year.

Thank you to @ImperfectCJ for hosting.

While I didn't make it to 30 hours of reading, I did finish 3 books, Godzilla: King of Monsters, The Pursuit and Troy.

I think for anyone who suffers from spiraling, this may help your friends and family understand what it‘s like to be stuck in you. As someone who has panic attacks, this was real. This was my brain, at war with itself, where logic does not make sense once the spiral has started to churn. Honestly, a fictional masterpiece about mental health. #bookspin hosted by @TheAromaofBooks and second book for #litsysummercampreadathon by @ImperfectCJ

radesilets I want to add: knowing you are in a spiral logically, but still not logically be able to stop it even though you want to is the most frustrating aspect about spirals. And he writes this so well. (edited) 3y

Thanks for hosting #LitsySummerCamp @ImperfectCJ it has been fun!

My goals for the #LitsySummerCampReadathon were to finish 2 books and read at least a chapter a day. Which I managed ☺️
I finished Downward Dog and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

I haven‘t really done the whole campfire singing/story thing. I went to a beaver camp a couple years ago, but didn‘t know any of the songs! Kumbaya is a classic according to tv so let‘s all sing that? 🤣

It has been a while since I read this, so I was due a re-read.

For such a short book, it packs a lot in.
I like how it doesn‘t exactly lay out what deeds Mr Hyde got up to, and that he is an enigma until the end.
For me this is a true classic! (I like the more supernaturally ones for sure)

This was a fun camping trip! I finished listening to Sanctuary, I am 72% in Bromance Book Club, and I am halfway through Bunny. Bunny is taking me longer than expected. It's a super confusing book. Anywho...

We don't sing campfire songs or tell scary stories. Instead, we like to tell each other funny stories from our past. We like to laugh around the campfire.

1. Camp was a blast! Got some good reading done this week. Favorite was The Dating Playbook.
2. I know no campfire songs and I only have a vague recollection of spooky stories, but none that I can remember. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bk4 of August & #LitsySummerCampReadathon & Bk1 of #AwesomeAugust #readathon is done. A reread by audiobook on Scribd, this has always been one of my favourite Dame Agatha books. One of her more convoluted murders, it‘s set in a big country house in England with a shooting, an unfaithful man & too many suspects. Loved it👍 #ChristieCrimeClub #ReadChristie2021 #ReadItAgainSam #AudiobookChallenge2021 #BookspinBingo #BritishCrimeClassicsChallenge👇

Andrew65 Well done 👏👏👏 Not. an Agatha Christie book I know of. 3y

Interesting take on the vampire story; having a vampire turn into a human again. First book for #bookspinbingo hosted by @TheAromaofBooks and #litsysummercampreadathon hosted by @ImperfectCJ

I‘m at 647 pages of my 700 page goal for #LitsySummerCampReadathon Hopefully I can really push between tonight and tomorrow and knock out these last 53 pages. I‘m not sure why it‘s such a struggle for me to read on the weekends 🤔
