so-soOn Monday I finished The Sea of Lost Girls. I love her mysteries! This one was not my favorite of hers but it was still a good escape. I did not connect with the main character who repeatedly frustrated me. I didn‘t figure out who dunnit though so that was fun!

My reading intentions for #jumpstartsummer were a bit ambitious! I got a lot of laundry done and did a little organizing, but I only finished the tagged book today. I‘ve started the other three but don‘t seem to be in the right frame of mind for any of them right now.
As with @Bookwormjillk this book didn‘t hit quite right. I liked it but not as much as I thought I would considering the topic, and it was longer than it needed to be. ⬇️

I forgot to keep track of my hours and I didn't finish any books lol 🤷🏼♀️ but I'm still pleased with what I did read this weekend! I made a bunch of progress in a few books and I was able to relax and enjoy the summer weather. So all in all a success ☺️

I didn't have a specific goal for #JumpStartSummer but I think my subconscious goal was to take pressure off. So I didn't just read, but also DNF'd and took books off my TBR, and I do feel much freer!
In addition to these I finished, I listened to about an hour of Undercooked by Dan Ahdoot (probably a DNF), about an hour of Everything is Tuberculosis (definitely will finish) and started reading The Thursday Murder Club, from my #BookSpinBingo.

I can‘t believe I missed my #JumpStartSummer Readathon by 43 pages. I really must pay more attention before I go to bed at night. Oh well 457/500 isn‘t anything to shake a stick at. I hope everyone got lots of reading and relaxing done.

I finished five books over Memorial Day weekend (all but one I had already started and was in various stages of completion before Friday). But #JumpStartSummer gave me an excuse to buckle down and finish them! All of these were good in different ways. And I still have a big stack of books to get me though early summer!
