I started 2020 with A New Dawn, ended with The Vagina Bible, and I‘m starting 2021 with The Truth! 😂. Those beginning of the year books fit better than I thought!

Great questions @ShyBookOwl

#goodbye2020 #historialfiction #holidaymystery #Obama

1st book of 2020- The Women of Copper County- fabulous portrait of mining and organizing- dirt(literally) poor mining town in Michigan beginning in 1913. 23 yr old Annie Clements unintentionally becomes a major protestor and protector of mining families. Relevant today. #buddyread
Last book- Murder for Christmas. Just ok.
Ringing in 2021 with Obama #audiobook. Love his narration.

Tamra This has been TBR for so long! Thanks for the reminder. 3y

First of 2020 was Little Women.

The last was I Want to Be Where the Normal People Are by Rachel Bloom

At this point in 2021, I‘m reading Human Acts by Han Kang and listening to McConaughey‘s Greenlights.

#Goodbye2020 @ShyBookOwl great prompt!
Tagged book was an interesting exploration of man, specifically white men in Europe. It was well written and I thought it hugely improved in the last few chapters.
Last book of 2020 was Artificial Silk Girl, the diary of a girl on the fringes of society in Weimar German, trying to get by.Gut punch of a book.
I've started 2021 with Lavondyss, the sequel to Mythago Wood!Hope to get through the series this month!
