After reading this book I want to watch all his movies, including Bringing up Baby which is my all time favorite movie and which I‘ve watched so many times I‘ve lost count.

I love him so.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!) Feel free to join in!

This was an amazing, although fictional, account of Cary Grants life. Dialogue reads like one of his funny movies from the 30s. Quick witted. But it was also informative. I had no clue about his personal life. He‘s it‘s fictional but it reads like a bio.

A detailed, honest biography that doesn't shy away from revealing Grant's flaws. I would give this a pick, but I listened to the audiobook and the narrator mispronounces many famous names, which is why I'm rating it so-so.

I think I forgot how big of a star he was. Each time I drive by his house on Pacific Coast Highway Old Hollywood blooms again. I can imagine people turning into the driveway. Anywho- this lost focus in some parts but was overall a reminder of the creatives who didn‘t change the game, but built it. After reading this I feel like he was like the characters he played - a somewhat smug man who isn‘t dangerous but is not quite who he appears to be.
