Oh look. #ChristmasCrimeChallenge gives me an excuse to read another of the MG Leonard books (middle-grade mysteries set on trains around the world - this one in Australia).
And what I‘ve learned so far, apart from the basics of hydrogen fuel cells, is that the moon is smaller in diameter than Australia is in width. Is that really true? And if it is, how did I not know?

pickMy daughter wins this one. I found this fun and full of twists and turns I didn't see coming. Truly a fun read.
The most dreaded of all was keel-hauling, where a man was dropped into the sea and dragged from prow to stern, ninety feet under water, his flesh ripped to shreds by the barnacles that clung to the hull like clusters of razors. Death was almost inevitable. He was like to bleed to death if he did not drown.
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.
