This is valid from Monday but I'm traveling Monday so here it is!

#HauntedShelf Let's Go! Points. You can earn some points before the challenges start in October by posting your TBR, recommending a book and posting the sign up link;

https://forms.gle/wmcY27wyx6awp3EfA

I'm excited to see everyone's tbrs … I'll probably steal a few for my own

PuddleJumper 1. The GDrive has a point tracker and information. Just make your own copy - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1E4W1geiK9TvLniayV03nUER_UbQ0pNIx?usp=dri... 3w
TEArificbooks FYI I‘m hosting #witchathon again in October so it can be added to that graphic. It will just be on Litsy I don‘t have storygragh. 3w

OutsmartYourShelf Pls add my Supernatural readathon too. #SPNBookBingo2025 3w
PuddleJumper @TEArificbooks Brilliant, that was a fun challenge. I've added it to the list, thanks 3w
willaful I can't seem to make a copy, it says access denied. 3w
PuddleJumper @willaful The tracker? That's weird. I'll double check the settings 3w
PuddleJumper @willaful I have no idea what is going on. I've tested it on several accounts and it seems to be working. If you still can't copy it, I can send you a copy over Discord 3w
willaful @PuddleJumper I seem to have managed it. I think the problem was it was suggesting I put it in your folder and I didn't know I had to change that. 3w
PuddleJumper @willaful Ahh, that would make sense 3w
CSeydel Oh, I‘m gonna need a tutorial on how to count points with this… 3w
PuddleJumper @CSeydel You don't have to use it, it's just there as a resource. I like making spreadsheets ☺️ 4d
Ellie_H Thanks for the reminder, I will be sure to post for points!!😁 4d
CSeydel Oh I‘m a big fan of spreadsheets too! I‘m not sure about the Readathons sheet. Do I put the title of the book in the row, and then it earns a point for each Readathon that I read it for? 3d
PuddleJumper @CSeydel 1. The Readathon tab is an easy way to count how many a book counts for. You put the title down then '1' for each readathon it counts towards, then you'll get a total. 3d
PuddleJumper @CSeydel 2. Let's say I read Carmilla in week 1 and it counts for 11 readathons (that includes buddy reads, bingo boards etc). In the week 1 tab there's a section for number of readathons, you type in 11 and it will automatically times that by 10 (10pts per readathon) and give you a readathon total which will then be added to hours read, book type to give you points per book

3d
CSeydel Ah! That makes sense - thank you! 3d
PuddleJumper @CSeydel No worries, it's not obvious. I'm not great at explaining my thought process with stuff like that so I just include examples 😅 If this one works out better I'll try and get some instructions for next year 3d
CSeydel No, I think it‘s great! I‘m just a little wobbly because I haven‘t done one of these points-tracking games before, so the system is less intuitive for me. I‘m sure it will be much more obvious once I‘ve gotten into the rhythm of it. Thanks for organizing!! 3d
CSeydel (Also I was concerned at first that I had to track my whole team‘s points, and I was very worried I would screw it up and make everyone mad at me, ha) 3d
PuddleJumper @CSeydel Oh no! I would never make anyone track team stuff. What a headache! They are responsible for that and I'm going on the honour system that no one is cheating or whatever, I'm not double checking that. That would make my head explode! 3d
