It‘s lightly snowing here in NY. So pretty but I‘m staying in. Time for a book and some hot cocoa.

When you first start this book our main character hates Christmas, yet she‘s forced by her parents to be an elf at their Christmas picture stop at the mall. Our character realizes that the guy she likes, isn‘t who he seems, and that she was stupid to think they were meant to be. The amount of character development in this is amazing. The ending is exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend this book.

This is a cute book about a girl who hates Christmas as a way of dealing with the loss of her much-loved grandmother. There's also a middle school love triangle and a hot cocoa store. I read this with my 9-year-old and she really liked it, although the kiss at the end made her blush. 😊 Really cute book!
