There is a lot in here about sisterhood, great friendships. Her love interest, a great coparent with his ex wife, has twin sons with varying degrees of autism. To call this romance seems unfair because it feels like it‘s much more than that. A strong pick.

3.5 ⭐️This started off with a bang, but as the story went on I just kept constantly checking how much more I had to go. It just felt too long.

I did like the autism representation, and that Soledad was biracial, but I felt that the author kept on hammering on the same things and it became repetitive.

This was OK overall, but I didn't love it as much as the first one in the series.

Ready for book 3!

Current audiobook…This has started with a bang!

Soledad had everything planned for her perfect family. Until, her husband gets arrested for embezzlement from the company he works for. The owner of the company gets close to Soledad to see if she‘s hiding any info for her husband. What he doesn‘t expect is to fall for her, & vise versa.

4.5⭐️ I enjoyed everything about this one, but the 1st one‘s still better. This one was a little slower & I wanted a bit more spice.

I liked it a lot, but not as much as I expected to, given that I LOVED the first book.

Book 2 in the Skyland series by Kennedy Ryan was every bit as good as the first. Ryan has a way of making you root for her characters. An FBI raid, twins with autism, a rising social media influencer, and a dad goes to prison. Bring on book 3!

Favorites: The Women, This Could Be Us, and Lessons in Chemistry

The chokehold this has me in right now!! Edward is an azz and I‘m pretty sure he‘s sleeping with the assistant. The audacity of him has me heated!! Soledad deserves so much more and honestly could have done better if you ask me. I want to throw the book on the bed and revisit it later but my curiosity is getting the best of me and I need to see how all of this will end.

Love the Skyland series and can‘t wait for Hendrix‘s story.
What other books by Kennedy Ryan do you recommend?

So so good. As is typical of Kennedy Ryan‘s romances, her main characters are dealing with some tough situations that makes the couple have to take time to get together. This one was such a beautiful slice of life, I loved both main characters and the surrounding characters. An easy 5⭐️

Kennedy Ryan has become one of my favorite authors. I loved this book. The characters stayed with me each time I took a break. I didn‘t watch tv for 2 days because t this book.

This book - what a great reading experience! Soledad is married to the wrong guy and we are rid of that loser in short order. Soledad soldiers on with a dreamy cast of supporting characters - 2 bffs (Yasmen, the MC of book1) 2 sisters, 3 daughters, a love-interest who happens to be a wonderful dad to his 2 autistic sons and model behavior for ex-husbands. Y‘all know I‘m steam-shy and I‘m all like c‘mon guys get naked already!

5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and 5🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ for this swoon-worthy read!
It gave “Waiting to Exhale” vibes with Soledad‘s journey from the wreckage of a shattered life to phoenix rising celebrating self-love, reinvention, and the courage to love again. And the romance…WHOA WHAT A ROMANCE! 🥰
If you love reading Tia Williams and Colleen Hoover, then Kennedy Ryan is a definite must-read author as well!
