Oreo was intrigued by the cover but, alas, I fear he would have been slightly disappointed with this one as well…although maybe not, there is a brave dog in it 🤭. This story has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas save for some decorations mentioned and the fact that they give it as the date. This is more of a violent survival story that doesn‘t quite develop the characters enough for my taste. Not bad, just nothing special. 🌟🌟🌟

Sadly this book didn‘t really work for me…it felt like it was mostly going through the motions on all levels. Usually I appreciate novellas, but maybe this would work better as a longer piece with more character development and a more detailed plot.

A fun little Christmas horror novella. It's not particularly deep, or particularly well written, but I had a lot of fun reading this on Christmas Eve with some hot chocolate. Also, the dog is okay.

A snow storm causes several people to be stranded at a diner in Indiana on Christmas. Then aliens do things.

Kind of had some Stranger Things vibes. It's a super short read. The writing isn't great and everything felt a little rushed. Still pretty good though.
