The New York Times Book Review «Una información fascinante que corta la respiración... Espléndido.» Philadelphia Inquirer «Hipnotizante... Chicago Tribune

When you receive a birthday card in the mail, it often has a chip that sings "Happy Birthday" to you. Remarkably, that chip has more power than all the Allied forces of 1945.

Interesting thoughts and predictions…we‘ll see what actually comes true.

tokorowilliamwallace Michio's conceptual manner of articulating his joy in talking about science is so fun to read. I hope to find some more of his work thrifting soon. 2y
Shievad @tokorowilliamwallace yes, his excitement about the topics comes through in his writing. 2y

Good book about the developments in several science fields and where they are going towards into the future. It's giving you an idea how the new technologies can be used in the coming decades

Pretty interesting, and a few years old now so I‘m wondering how many of the technologies mentioned have been improved since he wrote it. 4 stars

DiruVamp Was it pretty easy to understand? I‘m a science newbie LOL I‘ve read one of NDT‘s book and was, for the most part, able to follow it ok. 6y
Cinfhen I read this too! Some parts were easier than others to understand @DiruVamp but the parts I understood were fascinating! Very cool technology 6y
EricaReads @DiruVamp It was mostly easy to understand. Some of the quantum physics parts were dense, but still much easier to read than some other physics books I‘ve read. (I‘m a science teacher though, so I‘ve got some background in the science.) 6y

DiruVamp @Cinfhen @EricaReads thank you! I think I will give it a try ðŸ‘🻠6y
Gezemice I have read this and found it fascinating. @DiruVamp I had no trouble with it and I have very little science background. 6y
DiruVamp @Gezemice awesome! This is a topic I have recently become very fascinated by. I will definitely check this one out. Thanks! 6y

I bought this book for 15 Dollars and I got 1000 Dollars of knowledge from it ! I liked the theories, the storytelling and the fact that Michio didn't just thought about it by himself. He asked hundreds of the best scientists in the world! If you like science, interesting people and their stories then this is your book !

This book was cool😎 I didn‘t really understand ALL of it, and I may have done some skimming but the stuff I read was FASCINATING 🙌ðŸ»Every new technology mentioned in this book, is already being pioneered and tweaked by scientists today. The 22 century will make our lives look like The Flintstones. Magnetic powered cars that hover to transport you, robot doctors who make house calls by the blink of your eye, an elevator to spaceâ£ï¸#ReadHarder✅👇ðŸ¼

Cinfhen I‘ve completed my #ReadHarderchallenge2017 @RachelO 🎉🎉🎉 7y

Cinfhen Thanks!!! I'm glad this one is completed @SilversReviews @RachelO @Ms_T @LauraBeth Not sure I'll be attempting this challenge in 2018😠7y
Redheadrambles @Cinfhen oh congratulations 🎈🎈🎈👌ðŸ‘🻠I am super jealous with 3 books to go over here. Enjoy complete reading freedom ! ( But do come back next year 😀) 7y
Cinfhen Thanks @Redheadrambles this was my first #ReadHarderChallenge...I found the prompts really challenging..I ALMOST resented them 😬🙄does that sound really awful?!? 7y
Redheadrambles @Cinfhen noooo I get that feeling too particularly when I select something I end up not liking but I really enjoy the challenge of searching for books I might like that meet the task. It‘s has really opened my eyes to novels I might never have considered. 7y

"Today, we have become choreographers of the dance of nature, able to tweak the laws of nature here and there. But by 2100, we will make the transition to being masters of nature." I'm half way through this NF about technology and WOW!!!! #MindBlowing ?I won't pretend that I understand everything (I clearly do not) but the parts I'm getting...incredible! #ReadHarder

rockpools Wow! Sounds fascinating! 7y
Cinfhen It's pretty amazing @RachelO how's your challenge progress going?!? 7y
rockpools @Cinfhen We might not be talking about it 😬! But hey, we've almost got #still3monthstogo, if you don't look too closely at the calendar. Hope to have just the tech book to read for readharder by the end of the month. How about you and all-the-challenges? 7y
Cinfhen That's progress @RachelO ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ’œafter this book my #ReadHarder will be completed or is this for #PopSugar ~ I honestly can't remember🙈I still have 2 books for #LitsyAtoZ and I think one more for #PopSugar -mythical creature 😬 7y
RohitSawant Love Michio Kaku! I read this one right after wrapping e=mc2 by David Bodanis which was a fantastic read. 7y
