Egypt, 57 B.C. The captivating diary of young Cleopatra's tumultuous life - filled with opulence and mystery - as the daughter of the King Ptolemy Auteles, Pharaoh of Egypt. While her father is in hiding after attempts on his life, twelve-year-old Cleopatra records in her diary how she fears for her own safety, and hopes to survive to become Queen of Egypt some day.

4✨Yet another good mostly true story written in diaries. I didn‘t know much about this young queen, and we follow her before she was a queen. What she might have went through and as close to historical facts following what she might have felt and thought. I enjoyed this diary version of her life. Read as one of my #roll100 books. @PuddleJumper

#blastfromthepast - Visiting my parents for the weekend and I was helping Mom clean some bookshelves, where I had the pleasure of finding some of my older books as well! Loved this Royal Diaries series when I was growing up! Did anyone else read these?

#nostalgia

Kamisha @mrozzz definitely took me down memory lane! I used to love those little books and they‘re so pretty! 🤗 6y

The final three of my most recent buys of the Dear America books. I now have 35 of the 75 total! I can't believe about 3 weeks ago I only had 5. Now I need to keep a picture of all of them handy in case I come across more and start slowly buying them like I did for Kaysen's Nancy Drew books 😊 #DearAmerica #RaisingReaders #BookMail

Varshitha Wow.. thats quiet a collection!! 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @Varshitha hoping to complete it before she starts reading so she has access to all of them! 7y
BethM I just came across a bunch of these yesterday and though of you. If you want to share your list I'd keep an eye out for you. 7y

quirkyreader I hope you are hitting all the charity shops. I see them come in all the time and I currently have two on the shelf. But you know after the weekend they will be gone. 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @BethM That would be amazing! I will 😊 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @quirkyreader Like what charity shops? I often visit GoodWill and sometimes a local mom and pop store, but that is usually hit or miss with any book lol (edited) 7y
quirkyreader Places such as GW, Value World, Value Village, Savers, and church charity shop, and jumble sales. Also keep an on at local school libraries. They often have discards that they want to get rid of. (edited) 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @quirkyreader I haven't heard of the two Value ones but I will look for some near us here and when we move. Thank you! ❤️ 7y
BethM @BooksTeasAndBookishThings whenever you get it done feel free to post it or send it to bethmkaiser@gmail.com. I love helping people find their treasures! 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @BethM you rock! 🤘 I just posted it before I saw this... The email may make it easier lol 7y
kspenmoll Amazing! 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @kspenmoll So very excited for Kaysen and I to read these for the first time and reacquaint myself with the ones I have read ❤️ 7y
BookFreakOut I remember really liking Mirror Mirror! 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @BookFreakOut it is one of the ones I haven't read yet. I don't remember ever seeing it at the school or scholastic fairs. Very excited to read it, though ❤️ 7y
BookFreakOut @BooksTeasAndBookishThings I picked up a random habit from it, it mentions how they slightly dip a finger in their cups to feel when it's almost full and now I always do that when I'm stumbling for a drink of water in the middle of the night! 😂 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @BookFreakOut Not a bad habit to have lol 7y
Reviewsbylola 75?!? Damn, I probably have less than 10. 😂 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @Reviewsbylola yeah, there are actually even more PLUS international editions! We will never be complete lol 7y
CrowCAH Facebook helps. Keep a photo album on there and you'll be able to check when you come across one. 7y
Bori512730 My daughter had these...and I used to love reading them! Now I have to remember what happened to her books? Hmmmm 7y

alanacristin Wow I'd never heard of this series! It looks fabulous!! 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @alanacristin It really is ❤️ I loved reading them so much as a kid 😊 7y
alanacristin Do you have a recommendation of a good place to start? Or can you jump in anywhere? 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @alanacristin jump in anywhere. They take place in varying parts of time and situations and have many young people telling their stories 😊 If you like WWII history, or history of any royals, or you are a Revolutionary enthusiast, or you want to read about stories from a slave's point of view, or you enjoy reading about Titanic... pick subjects you love and find the book and go from there. They have so many you will definitely find one ❤️ (edited) 7y
alanacristin Woohoo 🎉🎉🎉 sounds so fun! Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm! 😍 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings @alanacristin absolutely 🙌❤️ 7y

I wanted to share this little haul that has me so excited! I read this series when I was in 4th grade and loved it so much! I've always wanted to collect and reread them, but could never justify spending the money. Last night, I found them for pretty cheap at Half Price Books!!!! This isn't the whole collection, but it's a start, and I'm so thrilled! #theroyaldiaries #childhoodfavorites #scholastic #bookhaul #halfpricebooks

Otherworld_Library Lol- I remember back when you were reading these! 7y
gretaalisonreads @Otherworld_Library really?! That's awesome! I didn't think about it, but it would have been right when we were living with you! 7y
