Hello, Harvest Moon

The first thing harvest made me think of for #poetrymatters and #scarathlon today was Harvest Moon by Neil Young. My dad is a big Neil Young fan and seeing him live with my dad is one of my favourite memories with him. His music pretty much defined my angsty teenage years lol

Thanks @DaveGreen7777 1.I try to work with my mind & breath rhythm when I feel overwhelmed.It could be any emotion, all are part of us.I like to take time alone to put myself together. Sometimes I run, watch a movie or stay in silence. 2. My best mantra: give time to time. Think that everything will pass, I will transcend the experience & I will learn something about it. Gissy Thank you @Meaw_catlady I try....sometimes is hard, but there is always good people out there to help you too! I can say that working with mind & breath really work even for daily activities, during my swimming event, I used these techniques to avoid a panic attack. It really worked! 5y

1 - People are sometimes surprised to hear this, but I‘ve fought anxiety and depression all my life. I once had a counselor tell me the reason I‘m always trying to make others feel better is because I know what it‘s like to feel bad often. One thing that helps me when I keep thinking of worst case scenarios is remind myself how many times the worst didn‘t happen!

Meaw_catlady I feel the same way! Going through so much I know that if I give constant love and good energy out that one day it will bounce back at me. Though I have more days IRL where I suffer from RBF and lack the bubbly kindness I see in you. You are a blessing to me.
