So I ran my first 10K this morning and extremely proud of myself and the time I managed (3908th looks a lot but considering that over 10,000 people took part, that's pretty good for someone with no training). Anyway, my legs ache so I'm gonna lie on the couch and finish a book. #WorthIt
pickNot sure what it is about this series that keeps me continuing on to the next & the next etc. The main character's snarky voice & observations about the occasional dramatic absurdities of her world? The magic & mayhem that seem to follow her around? The thread of humor? Probably the combination of all of the above.

Series is still setting up characters in this third book. Looking forward to the next one.

I'm going on to book four so that tells you I'm hooked! It had vampires, shifters and plenty of action plus strong romantic elements. I love this series!
I'm getting ready to dive back into Chicago. This is the third book in the series. I'm going in with expectations. I find the third book of a series can make or break it for me.
